qualified staff
We employ degree qualified designers & engineers to ensure that our high levels of creative & technical skill are backed up by strong theoretical knowledge.
track record
Proen has a long and successful track record including international and regional project experience. Proen designed products have been successfully marketed in Australia, Middle East, Asia - Pacific, Europe and USA.
multi-skilled
Many design consultancies offer limited skill sets and view the world from a narrow perspective. At Proen we've created a team with a broad range of skills and backgrounds to ensure our clients get balanced, effective designs.
highly awarded
The best mark of a great product is market success, however design awards give us an opportunity to benchmark our skills against our peers in the design industry. Proen staff have contributed design skills to Australian and International Award winning products. We have also received recognition with a range of business awards in state and national competitions. Visit our
awards page for details.
affiliations
Membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia (IEAUST) assists us to stay up-to-date on issues such as professional standards, ethics and other matters relating to the design community.
government links
Proen maintains close contact with relevant state and federal government bodies and is a Registered Research Agency (19069) under the Australian Federal Government's R&D Tax Concession scheme. This allows us to provide simplified access to R&D tax concessions. Tax deductions of up to 125% are available for qualifying expenditure incurred on eligible R&D activities. RRA status allows us to offer our Australian clients a number of significant benefits;
1. Expenditure for Australian R&D work contracted to an RRA, within approved classes of activity, is eligible for the full concession in the year of income, irrespective of the annual R&D expenditure of the claimant, ie: the normal annual expenditure threshold of $20,000 is waived.
2. Prepayments for contracted Australian R&D may be claimed by companies up to twelve months in advance of the work being carried out.
3. Small and medium-sized firms are able to undertake R&D programs without having to invest in costly R&D equipment and expertise.
